Bill Brassard with the National Shooting Sports Foundation had a lot of news for us! NSSF has a newly designed website to make it easier to navigate. Not only does NSSF keep everyone up to date on news in the hunting, competitive shooting and general firearms worlds, but they have many programs designed to help everyone, amateur to professional, including First Shots, Hunt and Shoot, etc. There has been an increase in formation of collegiate shooting clubs, which NSSF can help with. Visit www.nssf.org/CSSI/about. Bill also mentioned the Scholastic Shooting Sports Foundation, a project that started under NSSF but grew so big it became its' own entity. Looking for a place to shoot? Visit www.wheretoshoot.org Can't find primers? A number of websites usually have them, including www.brownells.com, www.sinclairintl.com, www.midwayusa.com and www.natchezss.com Many people have called in and are concerned about purchasing a gun and ending up on a registry. The Brady Handgun Control Act (HR 1025 from the 103rd Congress) which enacted the federal background check requirement for most gun sales, states that all record of sales must be destroyed within a number of days.
