Oleg Volk is a wonderful photographer, but he is so much more. His photos of guns (some are used on this web site) are art, but his posters carry a strong political message. These two sites are well worth checking out.

If you are serious about personal defense, you really and truly need to attend a good shooting school. Gunsite, in Arizona, and Thunder Ranch, in Oregon, are two of the best. While the physical facilities are great, it's really the people and the quality of the instruction that make them world class. I've been to both, and can recommend them without qualification.

www.nssf.org
The National Shooting Sports Foundation is the trade group for the firearms industry. It is to gun makes what the NRA is to gun owners. The NSSF puts on the SHOT (Shooting, Hunting, and Outdoor Trade) show each year. This is where new products are introduced, and I broadcast "Gun Talk" live from the SHOT Show to bring you news of all the cool stuff first seen there. The NSSF also has many great programs, from Scholastic Clays to the Step Outside program to educational efforts for gun dealers such as "Don't Lie for the Other Guy."
